Have you ever taken the scenic route from Canterbury to Chartham?

Enjoy 3 miles of traffic free picturesque scenes along the Great Stour River & beautiful countryside

Even in this time of lockdown a breath of fresh air is not only permitted but highly recommended. Chris Murphy from our team enjoyed an early morning bike ride before work along the Great Stour Way from Canterbury to Chartham and took a time-lapse video to share with us all. Well done Chris!

The path, part of the National Cycle Network (cycle route 18) is an understandably desirable route from Canterbury to the Stour Valley and Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The route is popular with walkers, cyclists and runners all year round.

For walkers, there is also another fabulous route that starts along the River Stour, heading through orchards before joining the North Downs Way on to Chartham. Please click here for a map of the 5 mile (8km approx) national trail route.

If you are looking for a property to buy in the Canterbury area, make sure your property search profile is up to date with your preferred areas - you can have as many areas as you like, either broad or as specific as one road.
