Our Wells team were thrilled to partnership with Her Majesty The Queen's favourite rocking horse maker, Stevenson Brothers and local favourite, Santé Wines, exclusively for our stand at the Mid Somerset show.

The Queen's 6th horse, the most recent, is the Platinum Jubilee 'Barber Shop' to celebrate her 70 years on the throne as presented to her at The Royal Windsor Horse Show earlier this year. We were lucky enough to have Acorn II and the iconic Zebra join us on our stand at the show on Sunday 21st August.

The team loved meeting so many people then hearing people say "Sandersons had the best stand"! All while enjoying a rock on the Stevenson Brothers Rocking horses and "feeding" them our polo mints with a glass of wine from local Sante Wines in hand.

From younger than 6 to 86 years of age, show goers couldn't resist a rock on one of these beautifully handcrafted rocking horses.

Also on offer was a competition to win a luxury hamper. The contents, hand picked by our Wells team using their exceptional knowledge of the local area and produce. Congratulations to our winner Emma Yeates who was picked out by the Google random number generator.

Our visitors were also thrilled to have the expertise knowledge and delicious tastings from Santé Wines from 10 Heritage Courtyard, Wells on the stand. Santé Wines is an independent wine & coffee house run by wine enthusiast David Schroetter who grew up surrounded by vineyards in the beautiful area of the Loire Valley. We can highly recommend visiting Santé if you are in the area

A bit more about us...
As everyone guessed from our stand, we are an Estate Agent, but we just like to do things a bit differently. This includes making buying, selling or moving home a much less stressful experience. If you would like to talk about it more or find out how your next move could be different to any past moving home experience, please get in touch with us.

Here's our monthly round up of our favourite properties to come to the market in February.

Almost seven months on the market, with two estate agents, but no buyer found. The house was beautiful, what did the previous agents do wrong to stop potential buyers from seeing this?

The Renters’ Rights Act reshapes renting with pets, ending blanket bans and forcing landlords to justify refusals. It also changes how pet damage is handled, sparking concern among landlords.

If you own a flat in Canterbury and you are currently on the market, you may be asking yourself a difficult question. Why is nothing happening? We believe in being transparent and evidence led. So rather than relying on opinion, let’s look at what is actually happening across CT1–CT4 between 1st January and 2nd March 2026.
