Don't underestimate the work involved after an offer is accepted...

Dedicated teams still working hard, for every client, from instruction to completion...

It might be a short week with the bank holiday weekend ahead but that doesn’t stop our dedicated in-house sales progression teams achieving successful exchange of contracts for our clients. In the current climate, many sales transactions are being finalised with a simultaneous exchange and completion as it offers more security for everyone involved, particularly the lender. However one of these has still been agreed with the usual 7-10 day gap between exchange and completion allowing more time to put final moving arrangements in place.

Feedback we often receive is that people don’t realise until after going through the process of buying/selling property quite how critical the progression part is for the ultimate success of the sale. This is the period after celebrating an offer has been accepted to handing over keys (completion) and is where the real value of a good estate agent is demonstrated.

If you are thinking of moving, do not underestimate this element of the process and research how the agent manages everything- from start to finish. A good way to measure how this is likely to be managed is to take a moment to read the testimonials from previous clients on their website and on Google….
